Jeff Canady, CPA
Jeff Canady graduated from the University of Georgia in 1977 with a degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting. He has worked with nonprofit entities since 1982. Jeff served on the local board of directors for the Community Associations Institute for several years and remains an active participant. Jeff has been a frequent speaker and author on tax and accounting issues affecting Community Association Institute members and entities. During this time, Jeff became president of the local chapter, earned Educator of Year and was inducted to their Hall of Honor. As president of Canady & Canady P.C., his duties include formulating firm direction and philosophy as well as the traditional duties assigned to the managing partner. In conjunction with expansion of the firm, Jeff's philosophy is to focus on maximizing the potential of each individual person employed. This concept of improvement requires personal communication skills as well as a constant attention to the needs of our staff.
Crystal Chang, CPA
Crystal Chang is a highly accomplished CPA with decades of success in accounting, taxation and audit. She graduated from University of Houston with Master of Science in Accountancy degree in 2001 and is currently the Senior Manager. She is a key member of the team and a hands-on manager with the ability to see the big picture. She has extensive experience preparing all types of tax returns, tax research and planning, working on IRS matters including audits, appeals and Offers in Compromise. She is also responsible for managing audit, bookkeeping and consultation engagements, training and developing staff, and maintaining client relationships.
Nikki Huang, CPA
Nikki graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada in December 2007 with a major in accounting. As an audit manager, her responsibilities include carrying out the audit plan, prepare and review financial statements; conduct analytical reviews on specific audit assignments; perform audit testing and variance analysis of actual and budgeted results from year to year; document and prepare work papers in support of work performed; preparation of nonprofit tax returns.
Christine Tran, CMCA
Christine Tran is a graduate of University of Houston, December 2009 with a degree in Business Administration, major in accounting. Christine has over 5 years of experience in property management while pursuing her degree in accounting. Christine is the lead accountant for one of the largest master planned communities in Texas. Her responsibilities include all phases of accounting for homeowner and condominium associations; preparation of franchise tax and tax exempt returns , property tax renditions and tax exempt applications. She is also an active member of CAI Toastmasters.
Sherry Wu, CPA
Sherry graduated from University of Houston with a Masters of Science degree in Accounting. Responsibilities include payroll processing, monthly accounting for condominium associations, and preparation of tax returns for all entities.
Rachel is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in business administration and a major in accounting. Responsibilities include tax preparation, performance of audit procedures and financial statement preparation for homeowner associations.
Yadira is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in business administration and major in accounting. Responsibilities include sales tax recovery, monthly accounting for small business and homeowner associations.
Graduate of Tulane University with a degree in Accounting. Kara has passed all parts of the CPA exam and is working on the experience requirement. Responsibilities include audit planning, documentation, substantiation and financial statement preparation for homeowner associations.
